Here I have taken on the idea of how it is flat pack furniture, creating the letters like simplified versions of the panels and parts of the furniture. I started off by using the typeface GT Haptik in uppercase, then using the pen tool I gradually altered the letters, making them more in to closed shapes with pointed edges. The final logo type is the most refined I think so I'm going to use this one.
