Looking in to making a textile (embroidery / cross stitch) it needs to be taken into consideration what type of things the elderly generation currently would be making. 50's and 60's designs have been looked in to as this is the era they would most probably be more fashion conscious. Therefore if I were to create something it would have to have influences from either or these eras.
