OUGD505 / Studio Brief 01 / Licence To Print Money / Different designs

To show how the biscuit notes would be distributed the designs will go across a 10 and 20 pound note also. These designs will vary in different forms of British biscuits.

The £10 is a custard cream.

The design was drawn by hand then scanned in and converted to a vector. However after experimenting with this drawing I found the hand rendered line to look a little too childish for the design. Following this I then placed an image of a custard cream on to Illustrator and live traced it. This didn't look as smooth as the previous design, but it looked more realistic and had a more rustic feel to it due to the un even weight of line, making it look more stamp like.

Different colours have been tested to make the design more vibrant.
