The conscious decision was made to cut the tab out square on rather than in the more used, tapered shape. This was done because this gives a little different feel to the book, making, also creating a sense of square on gridded order alongside the diagonal arrangement inside. It also makes the 6 really stand out as it follows the square around it. The slot in which the tab fits in to was cut slightly longer than the tab itself to allow an easy closure and opening application.
If there were more time, this would be printed again but on slightly thinner stock. The folds were done with a bone folder, however, this stock is too thick- creating cracks in the folds in the leaflet, causing it to look messy and unprofessional.
