OUGD505 / Study Task 02 / Design Thinking and Development

In groups, explore how you might encourage a UK consumer to consider the eating of – an acknowledged sustainable source of protein – insects.

We wrote down as many different ideas as we could with the time given, this allowed us to have a range of different ideas to develop further. We explored many different paths such as targeting it at health conscious people / gym goers offering it as a pop up shop to start with, focusing on the high protein, no fat aspect of it.

Our finished idea was to use cricket flour as our product. Offering it as a gluten free flour with a high source of protein.
